Thought About Using BuddyPress Again

If you were on this website/blog during the week you may have noticed that I had reactivated buddypress which turns your wordpress blog into a social networking platform. After reactivating my buddypress I decided that buddypress is not worth it for my own reasons such as, There is too much work deleting spammers and my traffic amd online earnings went down after setting up buddypress here.

Then there is the lack of themes and the need to use too many extra plugins just to get it to work. I am done with buddypress if you want to register and write a blog post that is fine so long as it’s original I will publish it you can link to affiliate products if you like but no rogue sites. Another problem with buddypress is that I have found few good sites to use as successful buddypress examples most have 1000′s of inactive members or overactive members writing about their shoe stores.

Another thing is I no longer care about it and need to spend some time using my computer for more than just boring administrative tasks and social bla bla bla.

This is WGT an online Golf Game which I tried out this evening it would make a good buddypress community if I was interested in Golf, But maybe you are and you are looking for some kind of topic to create an online community about maybe this will help you think broader about what you can do with buddypress if you want to my problem with the social networking platform is that I am not a social person :). Well not after the last time I had buddypress installed anyway since as mentioned above I was constantly deleting spammers I did find a solution in the form of wang gaurd a plugin which will delete sploggers for you, But when I discovered it the spammers has gotten the better of me as in the had me brought to a point of total demotivational reason to offer anyone any kind of service for free as it’s always abused.
