Skype 2011 Download Scam

While in Yahoo Answers I came Across an Advertisement promoting a Skype 2011 Download Link. The VOIP software which also happens to use the skype logo is not affiliated with skype in whatsoever. Skype is Free to Download click here to Download Skype and should never be paid from third party sites.Although there are some paid versions of Skype like Skype for Business. Take caution if you are asked to pay for Skype or other software in general Skype should be free for most personal users apart from Skype credit.

My other point to make in this post is that a company like Yahoo should not allow advertising of such fraudulent software and should place some way of reporting scam advertisements on it’s advertising network.Programs like Skype that are very popular are easily targeted by online scams trying to make money from  selling software that is free.

Where to Download Older versions of Google Chrome

With every new updates of Google chrome sometimes like all things we have became used to there are changes made that we do not like and prefer the older version of the Google Chrome Browser

If like many you are having many small problems with the latest version of Google Chrome you masy be happy to hear that a website is offering you older versions of the Browser to Download if you find the latest Version is not working just as you want it to.

Often upgrading your browser on older computers and Operating systems will cause Security issues with certain websites that have yet to devlope for the latest version of the browser you are using and vise versa.Thankfully if you are having these problems and had not had them before you can download the older versions of Google Chrome here.

How to Block Unwanted Website Traffic from Certain Countries

There are many reasons why you may want to block visitors from a certain country.It could be that they are just wasting your bandwidth or for security reasons.People may want to block geographical regions from accessing their websites and blogs also because of spamming and attacks but mostly because the traffic from some countries is of no benefit to your website and these visitors are just wasting your bandwidth and making your site load slower for your real target country.

Blocking visitors from regions that are useless to your website can be easily done using the htaccess file but you will need to know the ip range that the visitors are arriving on your site from in order to deny them.To get the ip address of all the countries that you may wish to block from your server sounds like much work ,But on this site you can block a country, block by ip address, deny access by country. You will select which countries you wish to block and they will auto generate the code for you and all you need to do is paste the code into your htaccess file .

This will give unwanted visitors an ErrorDocument 403 Forbidden to keep your website traffic only from the countries you are targeting saving bandwidth or reducing spam.
