Running Dual Monitors and Why Bloggers Should

Having Two Screens to work with at once is Important and can greatly increase multitasking productivity. Switching windows can be distracting and using multiple monitors should be something bloggers have enabled in order to increase blogging producivity.

I have always wanted to have more than one monitor running when working with my computer as a larger monitor is not always as productive as running dual monitors since no mater how large your screen is most users tend to have their browser open in a full window. Also as a Blogger the need for a second monitor is near compulsorily not only with social media demands and research into topics and editing themes and other tasks such as content management.

Depending on your OS after setting up dual monitors becoming more productive using dual monitors depends on which applications you have open on your monitors. Dual monitor set-up is easy using a laptop but when you have a Desktop computer most of the time you will need to have a dedicated graphics card here is how I set up dual monitors on my Dell Vostro slim tower.

First I had to get a Dedicated video card that was low profile this means that it comes with a separate VGA bracket.As I was not using the card for gaming this quite outdated Geforce En210 done what I needed so I could run more than one screen at a time.

 

As the Default VGA is Disabled when you insert a new Video Card you will need to attach your second monitor via HDMI or DVI if you do not have a DVI or HDMI connectible monitor you will need to get a DVI Male to VGA Female Adaptor which looks like this Image here

Next you will have to Configure your Graphics Card to use Both Monitors in your Graphics card Display Settings.

 

I am running Dual Monitors on Linux Mint KDE and to enable both Screens you need to goto your Nvidia Settings>Xserver Display Configuration then Click on Each Display then Configure and Select the Option Twinview. Your OS may be different and as this post is not about setting up dual monitors on a specific Operating System we will not go into further detail.

In this short video I will show you some reasons why you should run 2 monitors if you are a blogger.

Besides using Dual Monitors for easy access to affiliate programs they can also be a useful tool when selecting keywords in your posts, Some examples of blogging tasks that Running Dual monitors can allow you to watch and write or take notes, preview changes in your theme and much more. Using Observation For Online Business Creation Ideas

Finding an Idea to create an Online Business is the hardest part to setting up a Business online. After you hard your basic online business plan the rest works just like a funnel. Why because once you have your business idea you can outsource your tasks to others so you can make future plans for your online business.

Outsourcing can be done for Marketing, Content Management and SEO. Saving you much time that you can use thinking and expanding your online business.So it’s important to start thinking of online business ideas that might work and further online business management or affiliate management tasks.

Forget about making millions and set a goal even if it’s to make $1 a Day online.In a Recent post from asks blog which I am partly re blogging he talked about finding a business idea to start with and where people look to find ideas for a business.

The Article makes a good point about observation being a great source for a business inspirational source. And without observing where the market is you will have no online business. Observation is also important for checking that you are using the correct methods to promote your online business some online business will promote their services with advertising such as Adwords. But this can be a problem because there is much keyword competition in adwords so they could try promoting their online business with another alternative Adwords like network.

So from today if you are not doing so already observe what other online businesses are doing and see if you can do better or find a sub niche in their market if you think the competition is too strong.

Taking Time outs from Blogging to Edit content

Taking time outs from Blogging in order to maximize your blog posts traffic and earning potential could be a step that you may need to take with your blog. While it’s great to be able to publish new blog posts everyday,  There is also the problem of content going unnoticed this leads to blog posts without comments possibily without page views.

Your Average RSS reader will visit your site and make a comment on each new post that you write but have you edit and optimize your content so that search visitors will find it. Most blog posts will be seen by your Blog readers but after they fall back in the queue they may never be seen by anyone again even you will forget about them.

When we write a blog post we have sort of an idea if it will work with attracting visitors to our websites but most of us fall into a trap where we make ourselves pressured to write new content often just to suit RSS Subscribers. Since I have being having some back problems and sitting at the computer is sometimes painful. I have found it easier to just sit and look through my older content and posts and edit them a little including new keywords and better wording and formating of the blog posts.

Then there is also the problem with short blog posts it can be hard to write a long article when you are just giving a short explanation about a topic. Many other things that need to be tweaked in older blog posts are the use of better paying keywords in the content. Sometimes it is also important to even change the title of the post  even the permalinks of a blog post then there is the use of complex words in your content maybe it’s possible to edit some of your content so that everyone can understand it better and not let your readers feeling left out as they had to go search for the meaning of a word where you could have used a more simplified version of the word or term.

And to finish there is also another thing to be considered in your older blog posts can you expand on the conversation so it makes the article ask a question so you could increase comments on your blog posts. Are there any little fillers that you can put into your content that could give better search results and look at the content that is ranking in search and ask yourself why is that getting search results or so many comments and how can I make more Blog posts like the posts that are converting.

Sometimes it’s just a matter putting some words in or taking them out to improve the reaction to your content. But I must admit that there are blog posts that will never be seen and are not about a topic that is really worth looking deeper into just go over your content once in a while and think can you make it better. Maybe you do this often also and would like to share your experience below in the comments. What did you notice about your content and any flaws you have fixed that have made a big impact on the original content before you edited it.
