Affiliate programs are a great way to make money with your website or blog but as a webmaster you will have running costs like hosting maybe even advertising using a network that accepts paypal payments. Paying by check (cheque UK) only with affiliate programs is not far from the days of the barter system. Direct bank transfers and payments to Alertpay, Moneybrokers and Paypal should be an option for Webmasters, Bloggers and Affiliate Marketers to Cash out their Affiliate Payments. As when you are waiting on your commission check to come in the post and then clear with your bank you could have availed of a special offer had you that money in your paypal account.
Think about it with my bank it takes over a week extra to get my adsense check compared to having the money in my account via electronic transfer. Then when I get my payment from Adsense or some Affiliate program I still have to wait 5 more days for that to clear, With one check it took almost a month to clear as 7search pay in US $ not in Euro. Then I would have to wait 5 or more working days if I were to transfer that money from my bank account to PayPal. In this time I could have paid for some online advertising and made more money for myself as an affiliate but also for the vendor. Of course Adsense will not pay to paypal accounts because it would not make much sense as google have their own system for online payments Google checkout. But some affiliate programs are considering PayPal payments Today in an email the Linkshare affiliate program was questioning Affiliates about their views about accepting PayPal as a payment option.
Do you think all serious affiliate programs should offer paypal as a payment option and what do you think of affiliate programs that offer paypal payments but set a minimum payout rate ?.
