sir m trying to connect my samsung s3350 with wifi it gets connected but it can not start browsing n show dns failed what should i do ?? :( m worried

Open your Browser and select Settings>Internet Profiles> Then Select your Wifi Network.

You will need to toggle between connections if you still want to use your mobile network to browse

    hey roezor,

i’ve bought the gt-s3350 and i went to to the apps menu, but there is no wifi app in there :( no point 9 in the menu. what do i do now…..

    • Hello Jeffrey,
Wifi is one of the main selling points of this phone are you sure there is no Wifi app ?.If so I would return the Phone to the store you bought it from and ask for a replacement phone.

  7. What app do I need to listen to online radio streams on Samsung GT S3350?..I have tried going to radio station web page, and clicking on play now,but it doesnt work….Thanks in advance…Jim.

  8. Is it possible to listen to Internet radio on the Samsung S3350.I have tried Virtual Radio and RadioBee,but they wouldnt work..Thanks Jim.

    • The fact that the Samsung GT S3350 is running Bada Os makes it hard to find apps . It was fun to use for a while but as I used it more I found it did not do what I wanted to do with the phone. I kinda got mad with mine and smashed it :) reason being hanging up in call and the trackpad skipping when inputing symbols in the browser and random crashes. I think the best thing to do with this phone is try to get it to run on Android. I think this phone is cheap because samsung no longer care about bada phones since they teamed up with google as there seems to be no radio app in the samsung app store for the GT S3350.I mostly just used it to check email and browse some sites using opera mini 4, 6 was not compatible. But it did not turn me completely against samsung phones in general as most of them are jumpy and navigation is hard. I will not say go buy an iphone like other bloggers you know the apple sheep get a mac book, ipad and the phone and proclaim to the world that you are totally commercially gullible. This phone is marketed as a first smartphone but it’s also a deterrent from buying another as most things you think you can do with it samsung did falsely portray to the consumer a little that this was a good phone and it worked like a blackberry or android device. But for they price what did we expect I guess buying this phone was a little mistake as with all smartphones the more you use them the more uses you want to try out but this phone is quite limited when it comes to being a flexible smartphone. I do not think it was a mistake calling this post a review in the first place but as with all products they take a while to figure out and visitors discussion is important in reviews. You can see many sites reviewing products before they launch but unlike the tech guru’s I try to buy and review. a smartphone is quite a big investment for many people so before buying your next smartphone ask yourself some of these questions.
Which Features Do I Need on my phone
Are Their Apps for Radio, Skype, Email,Photo uploads for the phone
Is a Wifi or 3G Connection Type Important.
3G is fast but it’s Important that you know your Network Charges. Many places offer free wifi and browsing the internet on your phone can be done for free as long as you have a wifi key. This makes it easy to view sites on your phone without paying network charges which is usefull if you want to check your email or watch a video in bed or the toilet without turning on your Computer.
How much Support is Available online for this phone.
Are their many tutorials for using this device online
Does it Run Android so I have a wide range of Apps to Choose from.
iPhones are too expensive for most and just yuppie toys if you have the money and feel it will do what you need it to do go get one. However android phones cheaper are just as flexible and are open source.

  9. Thank you roezer for a very detailed answer..Cheers!

    Hello,
I have a samsung GT s3350 and it used to connect to my old wifi prefectly fine however recently i upgraded my internet. Ever since then my can connect to the wifi but when you go onto the internet it says connection fail.
What could i do to fix this problem?
    Thanks

    • Hello Haleema I no longer have the GTs3350 as I smashed it because of the Trackpad issue, I think I know someone who has one and will take a look for you. As I understand you have a new router and can connect to that router but not access the internet. Can you access the connection on other devices such as a laptop or other wifi phone ?.
