I have been following an experimental YouTube channel over the past few weeks, The channel is from a Guitarist who is looking for a Drummer, And A Bassist although, He can play the bass guitar but I think he want’s to just play lead and he has every right to do so as his style is something of a Psychedelic Blues trip. The Music of DirtyAssa I could compare to standing on the top of a Snow capped mountain at the equator one second and staring a Frilled Shark in the eye the next.
But like many people doing things on YouTube to attract attention from the music market, Assa is expected to do the Impossible, Which is creating videos and promoting his channel while still trying to play music. In his latest video he has recorded his own bass track but despite having a kick drum being a one man band these days is still not easy. He is looking for a Drummer and Bassist if you can help him out, I do not know enough about music composition yet to give him much more advice on getting a band together online even if it’s just an online band project. Someone did write on my other blog in a guest post about learning music online over Skype
But this was more based on learning an instrument online and not recording and collaboration of music online which should be easy enough to do. Maybe you are a drummer or bassist or have some experience of recording using this method. And could share any tips you may have for DirtyAssa. I could have posted this on my Instrumental music blog but Assa sings too and I have a rule on that site which is no vocals allowed. But don’t mind Assa’s singing too much he says himself he is learning to sing and in his videos he is just passing along his message to find his long awaited band mates which is giving him the blues.
