It’s amazing that you do not know where stuff you buy comes from anymore and what people in low paying jobs are doing without knowing the true lies behind the business they work in, Low skill level jobs that only require minimal training are the norm now. If companies hire professional butchers they would have to pay union standard rates, So they make production systems that require minimal human labor training requirements and as they are easier trained the companies know that they do not have to pay them much and it’s easier to find replacements. One of the best ways they do this is to hire staff through employment agencies who treat workers like hookers taking a commission of about 4 times the rate the employer is paying for the staff he is hiring (e.g Company is paying €40 and hour for Agency worker, the employee gets only €8) however it is still cheaper for the company to hire agency staff than hire as an employee directly because of employee taxation rates in Holland for employers.
