Open Stream in Media Player Ubuntu

How To Stream Online Radio and Video to Gnome Movie Player Ubuntu

Listen to your favorite Radio Station in Gnome media play simply by pressing CTRL and L or Movie Open Location on the file menu. Then in your Browser Right click to copy the link location to a radio or movie stream and paste the stream link location into the popup window. This saves installing Vlc in Ubuntu on a fresh Ubuntu install or usefull for users that do not use the media players in Ubuntu very often. Vlc can be installed via the package manager or by typing sudo apt-get install vlc from the command line. If you prefer to watch and listen using vlc instead of the default media player.
