Just The Thought Of Staring At A Blank Screen

The blank screen will always stay blank unless you type something on it but it will never go away if you stare at it for hours.

It’s there inside you just have to push it out of you. It does not have to be now but when you are ready if you really want to get it out you can force it but sometimes this is not advisable as it results in distressful feelings. I do not really want to write like this but maybe you feel the same about what you are going to write. When we turn on the computer most of us make the same mistake we open the pandoras box that is the web browser be it Chrome, Firefox or one of the others before you know it your on Facebook playing Farmville and commenting on a picture of a kitten. You are not going to get anything done are you ?.

Now after I finish this line I will hear something apart from the TV in the background which is that
sticky sound my really old keyboard that I choose to keep it’s a Packard Bell I bought it in a second hand market because I did not like the keyboard that came with my computer and all the new ones in stores nearby seemed to be either too light or too light and expensive. So can I ask you why don’t they make heavy keyboards any more I hate these faggot lightweight keyboards that you see now. And what happened those switches at the back of the computer so that when it freezes you can just flick the switch and it goes off ?. Now you have to press the power button to turn them off but you have to hold it too long so I just pull the cable. Don’t you just love that feeling hearing all those noise fans just instantly halt ?.

Speaking of Halt what’s the deal with most android tablets none of them say that when it gets all messed up that you just open the terminal and type “su” and type “halt” .

I love that word “halt” I remember being in this dead end job in a factory with an employment agency in Hague and I also remember telling my supervisor that it was a dead end job too the first time he approached me after being there about 3 hours or so since he asked me “What are you doing “ in a loud and impolite manner . The mistake he seen I was making was that I had been putting peppers into boxes there were red, green and yellow nobody told me that they had to be packed formally so the person unpacking them did not have to look as they were placing them on the display stalls in the American supermarkets

I knew they were been sold in the USA as they prices were displayed in $’s I remember the labels quite well but not precisely the said “Farmer Joes Peppers” something along those lines but to my confusion “Produced in Spain” this was because even though it was a dead end job they did allow us the privilege of daylight though the windows I could see glasshouses filled with what I suspected as those same peppers I was putting into the boxes.

Break time came about and I noticed one of my co-workers sitting there he had no coffee or food in front of him and asked them did he not have any with him and offered him some bread and cheese as I used to bring a whole loaf with me then eat the rest in the evening it was a time when I did practically live on bread alone. The break was over and I went back to work and boxed more peppers then lunchtime came I went back to the canteen and noticed that my own lunch was missing. First I though one of the cleaning ladies had moved it and looked about and asked the same guy did he see it he waited a little and said hey look it’s here. So I opened the plastic bag and offered him more bread with my blessing “Choke on it you c*#t” I don’t think he knew what I meant by that or anyone else as it’s not the type of English you learn in School as an non native speaker. So I went back to work in this even more demoralizing job and then it happened the labels got wrapped up in the machine and there were people shouting “stop, stop” but the machinist could not understand I seen that he was some kind of European maybe Eastern European and decided maybe he did not understand English or Dutch not that anyone else in that place did either but he just might understand German so I put up my hand and Yelled “Halt” the machine stopped then came the 3′o clock coffee break which workers in Holland used to get not sure about now sat down with the German guy and we managed to communicate in a mixture of German and Dutch which is possible if you are not narrow-minded. I told him well we finish in two hours and I doubt I would be back the next day as I was going to the agency to tell them that I would not be welcome but they spared me the convenience calling learner to say after today I never want to see that guy again :). Just like anyone reading this rant.

Now back to the blank screen again in this post because when this is published I might look over it again and decided that maybe I should have wrote something else or said it in another context. Or maybe you can do better with your blank screen if so prove it by writing your own blank screen blog post and sharing it below.
