Have you Ever read a blog post that had comments closed when you have another valuable opinion to make. The Post may have closed comments to avoid spam and many other reasons. I close comments on blog posts sometimes not just because of spam or short comments add no new value to blog posts but each time I approve one of these comments people that have made a genuine comment will receive an email from my server costing them time that they might not have.
So instead of Just Closing Comments I have created a new page on my blog for closed comments. This means that visitors may still comment even though comments are closed by requesting a comment inclusion. Here is how I made my page for Closed Comments.
First I created a page with A breif Description why the Comments are Closed.
Next I created a new email Account to Avoid Inbox Clutter from User Comment Requests For Old Blog Posts that have Comments Closed.
I created a Contact form for User Comment Submissions.
Next I place a Link to the Comments are Closed Page in my Comments.php file
Now when Comments are Closed on Blog Posts visitors that have a Valid Opinion that needs to be mentioned can submit there request to comment on the Blog Post that has Comments Closed.
