Those are all excellent tips for anyone who uses Adsense, however, I no longer use Adsense on my blog.
After testing various affiliate programs on my site, I found that I could be more productive with certain programs other than Adsense. I did get many clicks on my Adsense banners but it didn’t amount to very much. Selling only one affiliate product can result in more commission than I made in a month with Adsense.
I am in no way knocking Adsense as it is an excellent source of income for many people. I just think it’s a good idea to test all your options.
Thanks Robert I put an extra link in there for you because of that great comment.Blending Adsense can be hard because sometimes the theme will not work with you I had to change my twice in just a few days one theme had a broken sidebar and the other i noticed that the comments were not showing this is much work. Changing the colors of the Ads and Since I am now using the Google Ads manager to control my Ads I just might put some Clickbank hop Ads in there.Also I have some Affiliate links set to Automatic so maybe I will have luck with that. Another thing is that when the Reports became Availible in Euros I got a Big Shock to see how much I really did earn with Adsense but still as my Traffic is Starting to Rise I hope to See some Improvement.Combining the Google Ad Manager to show Ads from other networks but my experience with things like Bidvertiser and Adbrite was not Good so I have to look for a good Secondary Network to Run Alongside Adsense but Most of them are just showing the Same Junk Ads and I never want to use popup Ads on my site as they look too Cheap.
Hi Roezer, this is good solid advice that I need to put in place. It’s funny that I never even signed up for Digital Point or Webmaster World even though I hear about them all of the time. Website Babble is a good forum too and I see some good Q&A about AdSense over there.
