When creating a WordPress blog you Should Change the Default username and use your own name or a pen name. No matter how good your content may look there is no excuse for blogs that use admin as the Author name. It looks like a Spam blog and nothing more like why write great content when you are too lazy to think of a name to use. If you choose not to use your real name then think of a pen name like John/Jane Doe it’s not that Hard.
Using an Author name gives you Personality if you use the Default name Admin you are Making your Visitors Confused because they know Admin is not your Real name and Want to respond to a Real or Sort of Real Name. Admin is a Computer Term and Should never be used as the Author Name when people search for Admin because they Remembered your blog post how many results will they see.
Being a blogger is about relating with your visitors and you should try to respond to comments you do not want to repeat all the time what your real name is when people ask you questions as admin. Then there is also the problem of people not having a gravatar which is a small picture or image associated with your email address. Sometimes I am looking through comments and see a gravatar from bloggers I know straight away and visit their websites. So it is also an alternative way to gain extra traffic to your blog as sometimes people will remember your comments from the Image.
If you are not doing anything now just go change the default admin name from your blog to another more remember-able name and go get a gravatar then people will start remembering your blogging name and gravatar and not just another faceless administrator of a blog.
