I am Quite a Fan of Problogger and think it’s a Great Blog but the other Day when I was Reading the comments I noticed that After a While you Notice that People are Not Communicating with each other on the Blog and they are just Trying to Attract the Attention of Darren Rose.
This goes for Most of the popular blogs also as when people comment on blogs they are so Wrapped up in themselves using “I think and My Blog” that they are Forgetting one of the Most important thing that Bloggers have to do which is make contact with other Bloggers not just the Big Time Blog Authors
One of the Best articles on Problogger is the most overlooked by most Bloggers that is Don’t be a Greedy Blogger Make Conversation with other Bloggers and link to Smaller Blogs not just this the A-list Bloggers. The Same applies to Twitter if someone Retweets you and they Have a blog then at Least message them and say thanks if you like you could also Retweet them Back which was an Interesting Tweet that I seen by @BLOGBloke which Inspired the whole Idea of this Blog Post

So true. It’s the little guys that will help build you up way faster than the big guys. It’s about building your own following and making friends along the way.
For the exact reason you pointed out initially, i refuse to comment or even visit these so-called guru sites. They’re established. Why would they take the time to respond? The majority of the time they are doing the very same thing they say you shouldn’t (e-mail harvesting).
So what I do is use an “autoresponder” valid email address for their advertising ploys.
I rarely read Problogger unless one of Darren’s (last name is spelled Rowse by the way) articles come up in a keyword search.
I actually find many of the guest bloggers, particularly David Risley, to be more of an effective writer — particularly when many concepts on the site either reinforce what other bloggers already have implemented or other posts more targeted to the “beginner/newbie crowd”.
You have to appreciate Darren’s success. Who knows what could happen to the present generation of bloggers?
As I’ve said many times, the road to success comes through relationships, generosity, and unselfishness. It appears that the road was “designed” this way. How fitting is that?
Thanks!
