I can’t even think how many times I have turned on my computer with the intention to write something and it would ask me to do some system updates or installations. This week I had been having problems with my Hard Drive every time I booted it would try to make a FSCK and stop at stage 1 of 5 (23 of 536) I think it was looking for the wireless network before the wireless drivers have loaded because it would boot when connected to the wired connection.
Also having problems with a Damaged Hard Drive I get a SMART failure when Booting also when trying to install Operating Systems so It is no longer possible to Install anything Above Ubuntu 9.04 for some reason maybe it’s because of the ext 4 file system but latter versions will not install. One of the problems I have with most live cds is the fact that my wireless card will not work and it is not easy to have access to the wired network all the time so when something is wrong and I can’t access the internet to find an Answer then it is a big problem.Fedora manages to load my wireless drivers and Xpud also but I do not have the patience to read all the documentation that comes with Fedora just to go online and check my email.Xpud works perfectly apart from a small but very annoying problem of getting my touchpad mousewheel to scroll and not give the same output as Right Click.
So now I work only from a live USB simply because I know if I reinstall Ubuntun 9.04 it will ask me to Download an Additional 220 mb of Updates to programs and Applications I never use and if I get this FSCK error again and the hard drive fails I will have to download them again meaning I am just wasting time installing anything on this messed up hard drive and I am reversing how I think about using Flash Drives and Hard Drives.I now use my Hard Drive as Storage and my Flash Drive for my OS
This Pen and USB Flashdrive although this model is only 2GB there are large capacity flash Drives like it but it could be just what I need because when I get errors at root level I can quickly write them down using the ball pen and load the Live USB with b43cutter firmware installed and go look for the solution. If the installation on the Live USB fails I can always use the Live CD and Create another Live USB still having all my data stored on my hard drive no matter which Operating system I wish to Run as most of the Data I store on my computer is just ISO images what do you think is it better to just store on your hard drive and keep it free from all Operating Systems and just use Portable Storage so you can Take your Operating System with you wherever you go and let your Hard Drive just be seen as storage and nothing else

This post is interesting. Running your OS on a flash drive and set your hard drive for your storage could be a tricky one. You also have this cool pen and USB flash drive which do have a double purpose. This could be used as promotional products for some businesses. Thanks for sharing this informative post..
