7 If you can afford it buy a premimum wordpress theme to brand your blog,if you can’t just brand your writing.
8 Use a good analytics tracker to understand your visitors.
9 learn some basic programming skills this will save you money on outsourcing
10 Join mylikes and earn some cash into your paypal account every week to keep you somehow motivated
