Skirbit a website suggestion service will close down soon says the email I just received. Apparently people just did not understand the service so easily and few suggestions were ever made to blog owners for content ideas.Some 45,162 blog post suggestions were made on skirbit but that was quite few as blog owners only received about an average of 3 suggestions.A very large email list of over 20000 email addresses will also halt it’s messages from the autoresponder of skirbit.
The Problem with Skirbit was the fact that Blog readers did not interact or know how to interact with the suggestion service this can be a hard task as I know myself as one of my sites is about getting people to truly understand the possibilities they have to network and create backlinks a community site.
If you were a skirbit user and want to try something quite similar but it only works for blog post ideas it might be an option to Try Plinky Promts just do a search form the searchbar in your browser or use the blog search

Did you use the service and how did it work for you ? Will you miss it or is this the first time you heard of a suggestion site for bloggers called skirbit. On a final note do you think that too many website are closing down and is this all because of the stronghold facebook has online. I know people if you looked through their browser history all you would find is facebook and youtube.
