The blogosphere is becoming filled with list posts doorway pages and titles like, 10 ways to think of better post titles and not write list posts. Many think that list posts are easy to read and people like them. But I think list posts suck simply because if you do not know everything on the list you have to go and read about the things that you do not know on the list. So an Good Alternative to a list post a Blog post where you are writing your blog post about just one thing at a time meaning that then you have instead of a Top 10 of this or that, you have 10 posts about the Items on the list.
When you use methods like this you will suffer less from bloggers Block and more content because content is Queen I say Queen because even if you are King you will have to listen to what the Queen says otherwise you will have many problems.
So how did I come up with the Idea of this Post well it started with a Tweet from @BlogBloketips you should follow him if you are not following Him highly Recommended. I read his blog and learn some original Blog Tips and not the boring junk that most are publishing.

I’ve read everywhere that having a number in the post attracts a readers attention. And I agree with you, the practice is everywhere now! And a better practice to just having a list of 10, with no description, is to link to your new post. I bet its good for SEO too.

Thanks for the comment Victor but if there are 1000′s of posts just making lists then it starts getting hard to find things that we can read and be inspired by. List posts only teach us to mention and not to fully explain a Topic that will help us much more if we stick to one Topic maybe Two in a post we can provided much more Value. It’s like Reading wiki all the information is there but there is also many links in the posts that cause you to leave the page and start reading about something else
Like Victor, I’ve always read that list posts are considered the best format for a popular post. Personally, I think that may have been true at one time, but times change. I have written several list posts and a couple seemed pretty popular. I like to think that the actual post warrants a blogs grade, not the title. I could have just as easily gave them a different title and dropped the list and used simple paragraphs. The content would remain exactly the same. Another good debate topic :)
